Nature of the Service

Carroll County Released Inmates is a private reference resource. It stores no official jail, court, or correctional record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, or file a request with an agency.

The site points visitors toward Carroll County release sources, Tennessee correctional systems, and third-party research tools. Government offices and outside providers remain responsible for their own records and services.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful and must not interfere with this resource or harm another person.

• Do not violate a law while using the site.
• Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or target anyone.
• Do not make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content.
• Do not seek access to accounts, servers, or data without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.

No Consumer Reports

Carroll County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Advertising and search partners do not offer screening services through this site. You agree not to use site information for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment action
• Rental, lease, or other tenant selection
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links Outside Our Control

Links may lead to sheriff and correctional sites, government portals, release records, legal-help resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, data practices, availability, or terms, so review that site's rules before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

• Information is complete, accurate, or current
• Service will remain uninterrupted
• Software is free of errors or security flaws
• A partner search will return every relevant record

Custody data and public records change often. Nothing here is an official statement by Carroll County, a sheriff, a court, or another agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

Unless stated otherwise, the text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Carroll County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, alter, or republish them without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. A revision becomes effective when the new version is posted. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Revoked

We may restrict, suspend, or end access at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. Clauses that should logically survive termination remain in effect.

Tennessee Law Controls

These terms are governed by Tennessee law, including applicable provisions of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act, Tenn. Code Title 47, Chapter 18. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The affected language will be limited only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
